This class is designed for the novice to make a complete knife from raw materials. Using modern tools and some ancient techniques you will handcraft a working tool.
The first session of the class will be to form the knife blade, bevel the edge and heat treat. This has 4 hours allotted to complete.
The second session of the class will start with a fully heat treated blade that will have the beveling finished, the surface polished and handed materials applied and shaped. This has 4 hours allotted to complete.
If a sheath is applicable, it will be provided by Crafted Restorations after the knife has been completed.
To register, please email craftedrestorationsbox@gmail.com and let us know which two dates/times you would like (for the first and second sessions). Please choose different days. Classes will start at $500, which includes two sessions. Limit 1 person per session.
Once we receive your email, we will provide you payment options and a waiver for you to complete and bring signed to your class.
